1. Fee Structure

Authors in Brazil: R$ 210.00 per article (up to 15 authors)

International authors: US$ 520.00 per article (up to 15 authors)

Partner institutions: R$ 150.00 per article (up to 15 authors)

Additional author (over 15 authors): R$ 20.00 (Brazil) or US$ 5.00 (international), per author, limited to 20 authors
2. Payment Procedure

APCs are charged only after the acceptance letter is issued by the Editor-in-Chief.

Brazilian authors and partner institutions must pay via PIX.

International authors must use PayPal through a secure link provided in the acceptance letter.

Payment must be completed within 10 business days of the invoice date. Failure to pay will result in publication being postponed until payment is regularized.
3. Waivers and Discounts

Authors from developing countries or those in proven financial hardship may request a full waiver or up to a 50% discount on the APC.

The request must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and must include institutional or documentary proof.

The editorial team will review the request and respond within 5 business days.
4. Allocation of Funds
All APC revenues are fully reinvested in the maintenance and operation of the Journal of Convergent Scientific Inquiry, including:

submission and peer-review system;

editing and publication;

digital hosting;
-
DOI registration;
-
digital archiving.
The journal operates for scientific and educational purposes only, with no profit motive.
